Ariane recently completed her PhD titled 'Women as secondary earners: The labour market and marriage expectations of educated youth in urban Indonesia'. She first joint ADSRI as a summer scholar, working on a series of Indonesian population datasets. Ariane also holds a Bachelor of Asian Studies and Bachelor of Economics with Honours in Applied Economics degrees from the Australian National University. She is currently working on labour supply dynamics in Australia.

  • Transition to adulthood in South East Asia.
