The Master of Social Research and the Graduate Certificate in Social Research are 2 new degrees that will be offered by ADSRI from 2008.
Both are professional degrees designed to provide training in social science research. Students of these programs will gain practical skills that can be applied in government, non-government organisations, and private organisations. They will be especially useful to people interested in:
- social policy making
- social research methods
- demography and population studies.
Graduates of the Master of Social Research with a high level of performance also have a strong foundation for PhD studies. Students of the Graduate Certificate in Social Research have the option of transferring to the Master of Social Research subject to satisfactory progress.
