Individual subjects offered in 2009

The Australian Demographic and Social Research Institute offers non-award enrolment in one or more of its courses, providing graduate-level education to people interested in population studies or social science research methods without having to complete an entire degree.

Admission requirements for non-award study are consistent with those for the Graduate Certificate in Social Research; that is, an undergraduate degree of an acceptable standard from a recognised university, or equivalent academic or professional qualifications, and adequate levels of English. Pre-course English training can be undertaken via ANU College, if required.

Please note that international students are required to undertake a full-time load, that is, a minimum of 18 units per semester (usually 3 courses).

Students can later credit these courses towards a degree.

What courses are available?

Please see Graduate Certificate in Social Research for a listing of available courses.
